Sorry guys! I was combining my two journals and I guess it posted them again to your friends list even though I told them that the dates were from last year. :/ So, I had to delete them and repost them here (since they didn't show up on the RSS feed at all) so just ignore this post since you've already seen it yesterday. ;) I just want them here on this journal for my own memories and for any future friends that want to read my old posts.

Wonderlands

Thanks to

rhiamon I learned about Wonderlands social network and decided to join today! :) It looks like it is more geared towards the entire fantasy genre instead of focusing on a sub-genre like fairies. And this makes me very happy as while I enjoy fairies, I really do enjoy the more broad genre of fantasy more. :)

My husband asked that I post this to help raise awareness for his friend that will be doing this amazing cross country ride with his kids to help create awareness of how important it is to have fathers involved in their children's lives.
We are riding our bicycles from coast-to-coast, from the furthest point East in New York to the furthest point West in California (Montauk Point to Mendocino Point) then on down to San Francisco. We are not taking a sag vehicle, nor are we staying in motels and campgrounds all the time. Sometimes we will be staying in people's houses, sometimes we may camp in a campground or get a motel room....but often we will be camping in a backyard, churchyard, or town park...

I LOVE this house! I'm not sure I would be brave enough to completely live 'off the grid' with an earth cooled fridge and gravity water from the river (no river here anyway), but I love it nonetheless. :)
