Some favorite quotes

I’m not usually one to memorize and quote things.  However, I ran across these two gems not too long ago and they made an impact on me so I wanted to write them here to both remember them and share them with you all in hopes that they will strike a cord with one of you as well.

Both quotes below are by Eleanor Roosevelt.

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience by which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.”

 

“Do one thing everyday that scares you.”
